Builders bulldoze one of largest Mayan pyramids in Belize
One of the oldest and most famous Mayan pyramids has been destroyed by a construction company in Belize, while digging for crushed rock for a road they were building.

They actually did.

For my pagan friends: does anyone have experience working with the god Tyr?  I believe his presence has been made known to me and would like to perform a small ritual tomorrow, seeing as Tuesday is Tyr’s Day.  Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Tyr is a fascinating god, though we don’t actually know much about him.  For the most part, we only know about the role he plays in the binding of the Fenris wolf.  However, we know through the study of historical data that Tyr was once the chief deity among many Germanic tribes in antiquity.  His domains of influence are war, oaths, the law, and sovereignty.

so, a long while back, I was very close with a kitsune spirit (which is redundant, I know shshshshhhhh), but I had made the mistake of dating someone who was magical, he ruined my life, and he took her with him.

the last few times I tried to contact her, they were all pretty awful. I wasn’t…

Wait, the spirit gave up one of the swords?  Do you even know which one it is?  There are many things that could represent, but for a spirit to intentionally throw itself out of balance or weaken itself in any way is more a sign of submission than anything.  Had the spirit given you any old sword that could be a sign of hostility, but it gave you one of its personal weapons.  Samurai would offer their sword to a worthy master, so perhaps the kitsune has decided to return to you.  Perhaps it is even willing to commit seppuku for dishonoring its bond with you earlier.
